Come along with me as we stitch this Cathedral window inspired piece. The distinctive Fleur-de-Lis Crescent motifs will be stitched with threads based around Gloriana – Autumn Arbor-overdyed silk. Other stitches include Jessicas, Sprats Heads, and Plaited Rays. Iridescent threads from Kreinik and Rainbow Gallery’s Elegance and Petite Silk Lame Braid will be used alongside beads and crystals to assemble a stunning piece. Once the stitching is completed we will add beads and crystals to add depth and sparkle. This is a fun project that does not require any previous counted canvas experience- come along and we will proceed one step at a time. Finished circle is 6 ½ “.
